Halloween DIY Spooky tree:
This has been a huge success at our house this year - we have people ringing our bell asking where they can get it.
We got this idea from a youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnckyLpK_A0
From there you can get step by step instructions.

The supplies needed are relatively affordable and easy to acquire.
1. 8 foot concrete tube (order online from hardware store)
Sharpie Marker
Drill & Jigsaw
screws
2 1x3 boards
gorilla glue & adhesive spray
glue gun & glue sticks
brown parchment paper
plywood
4 - 5inch brackets
gray/weather colored paint & brown stain (for added effect)
artificial leaves and moss
two branches
optional: lights

Step 1: draw on concrete tubes with sharpie to outline your desired face for tree

Step 2: Use drill to cut out starter hole, use jig saw to cut out traced outline

Step 3: Using gorilla or wood glue, glue and screw both 1x3 boards to inside of concrete tube for support

Step 4: Crumble up and wrinkle parchment paper. Glue to concrete tube using adhesive spray

Step 5: Mount concrete tube to circular plywood brace with brackets.

Step 6: Paint with gray latex paint and for added effect lightly paint with brown stain on top of gray.

Step 7: Mount branches as arms to concrete tubes

Step  8: Using glue stick glue down moss and artificial leaves to branch arms

Step 9: For added effect install orange string lighting on the inside.

Happy Halloween!!
